Islamic Studies and Christian Religious Program are promoting the pursuit of human understanding cooperation and mutual respect of one another through objective Islamic and Christian Scholarship which prepares the graduates to relate with people of various faiths harmoniously, thereby enhancing peace, prosperity and human development universally.
The vision of the Department is to provide religious solutions to contemporary problems bedeviling humanity and Nigeria in particular; to adequately prepare students of the Department to serve in various capacities in the Nigerian economy; as well as to give them proper academic tutelage to enable them meet Postgraduate challenges in the future
